Lionsgate have today (May 20th 2014) announced their Press Release regarding Divergent and all things DVD/BluRay and what we can expect from these. See the article below.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate heads Patrick Wachsberger and Rob Friedman spoke about splitting Allegiant into two movies. Last month, the announcement was made about the plans to cut Divergent finale into two parts. Read the interview below.

The news is out that Allegiant will be split into two parts, the first being released in 2016 and the second is 2017. Looking on the social networks a lot of fans are mixed on whether this is a good thing or not, what do you think? answer our poll, along the sidebar!

Luckily Entertainment Weekly  caught up with the star Shailene at the recent MTV Movie Awards to get her view on this! 

Shailene Woodley recently revealed the changes she had to undergo in the physical transformation to play Hazel Grace Lancaster in The Fault in Our Stars, in comparison to her role as Tris in Divergent. Shailene said she had to change her body in a way that portrayed a young woman who is very sick and wouldn't have muscles like a Dauntless inititate. Lionsgate has confirmed that they will be splitting VRoth's Allegiant into two films. Different to other franchise which have done this, Divergent will actually be filming the two parts as two separate movies! The news was shared by the official Divergent Facebook.

The term fangirl seems to get a fairly negative connotation these days. Yes, you do get extreme cases of fangirls but from what I have witnessed over the past three days could in no way been seen as negative.
