In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate heads Patrick Wachsberger and Rob Friedman spoke about splitting Allegiant into two movies. Last month, the announcement was made about the plans to cut Divergent finale into two parts. Read the interview below.

Lionsgate has confirmed that they will be splitting VRoth's Allegiant into two films. Different to other franchise which have done this, Divergent will actually be filming the two parts as two separate movies! The news was shared by the official Divergent Facebook.
