For those of you feeling the Monday blues here's a cheeky little post to cheer you up!
So here are my Top Ten Character Crushes!
10. Pip Pirrip : Great Expectations Charles Dickens
Pip is a young boy at the start of the novel but you get to grow and go on his adventures with him which means you feel his heart break and his pain with everything from Estella to Magwitch.
Even though he may not have the perfect family or upbringing but Pip is a true British gentlemen, and who isn't looking for one of them?
9. Edward Cullen : Twilight Saga Stephenie Meyer
Edward Cullen sure does have some flaws but he is loving, loyal, broken and forbidden. All his intentions are done for what he thinks is Bella's best intentions and, call me a romantic, I think he is an extremely loveable character! Life may not be easy with him but I think the buckets of money, eternal youth and amazing family- yes, I include Rosalie in that- make up for the blood thirst and death threats... Maybe?
8. Four/Tobias : Divergent Veronica Roth
I love Four in both the book series and the movie so so much and defiantly would not say no to a date with him! He is gorgeous, sarcastic and strong, brave and loyal. Did I mention gorgeous? And after everything that happens to him, I am sure that I am not the only girl that wouldn't mind healing his broken heart. The reason he isn't higher on my list? I'm not a pretty boy kind of girl. Okay, I am a sucker for pretty boys but in my list there are defiantly some boys that are off the scale on the feels scale!
7. Gabriel : Dark Visions LJ Smith
Dark Visions is defiantly a must read for any YA Fantasy fans!
6. Charlie : Perks of Being a Wallflower Stephen Chbosky
He is a sweet and innocent character and I love that we get to experience all his first times in everything along with him. A date with Charlie would be so sweet!
5. Noah : Soulmates Holly Bourne
Noah is a complete heart throb! He's in a band to start with and who wouldn't love a musician?! It's hard to say why I love Noah so much without giving away too much of the storyline but he never gives up when he offends Poppy at their first meeting and keeps at it when Poppy rejects his friendship.
Soulmates is a modern day Romeo and Juliet that is perfect for a feel good night in with a blanket, hot chocolate and a extra large box of tissues!
4. Ron Weasley : Harry Potter JK Rowling
Ron is my oldest book crush. Do I even need to say anything about him? He is loyal and funny and god, I want to be apart of the Weasley family. Plus, I always have had a thing for gingers!
3. Augustus : The Fault In Our Stars John Green
2. Will Herondale : The Infernal Devices Cassandra Clare
To be truthful when I first read Clockwork Angel I wasn't too sure if I was going to like it but I got sucked in, and one of my favourite things about this series is not the love triangle between Tessa, Will and Jem, but their friendship. Will is always loyal to his parabati Jem even though his feeling for Tessa are stronger than anything he has felt before. I think this is what I find most attractive about the character. Not his looks or strength but his loyalty and passion.
And, hey! A date with Will Herondale is something that I think every girl should experience at least once in her life!
And my number 1 Character Crush is, drum role please...
1. Heath Luck : House of Night PC & Kristin Cast
Love of my life, fire of my loins.
House of Night is my favourite vampire series and Heath is by far my favourite character in the series, maybe ever.
In a world surrounded by freaking beautiful fledglings and crazy vampire chicks, he is never once scared away from what he knows he wants. Zoey. He is loyal, passionate and handsome, sure. But what is so amazing about his character is that throughout the series he is just a smitten teenage boy who wants to make out with his hot vampire girlfriend and never knows when to quit.
From Heath I would want more than a date. If I had Heath in my life then there is no way I would let him go... Unless I had to (wink wink).
